Jarvis Landry, five-time pro bowl Cleveland Browns wide receiver, announced the forthcoming launch of $JUICE, his own personal cryptocurrency on Rally. With the launch of $JUICE on December 7th, Landry will become the only NFL player with a cryptocurrency available for fans in the U.S., where fans will be able to purchase $JUICE to unlock unique benefits and personalized experiences only available to its holders.

“I’ve been blessed with some of the most loyal fans, from Louisiana, to Miami, and especially here in Cleveland,” said Landry. ”It’s always been important to me to give back to my communities and create unique experiences that we can share off the field. This is an amazing opportunity to build a whole new world in the metaverse with my day-one fans.”
Landry’s foray into crypto follows several NFL players electing to take portions of their paycheck in bitcoin. Rather than serving as an investment tool, however, $JUICE will represent a digital key that unlocks access to a unique suite of experiences both in real life and in the metaverse. Fans who purchase $JUICE will be able to use it in the coming months to play video games with Landry, and purchase exclusive merch “all-access pass” NFTs that represent membership in Landry’s digital fan club, Club 80. Members of Club 80 will get priority access to both in-person and digital experiences. Landry will also launch a series of NFT collectibles that will only be available for purchase via $JUICE.

“NFL players are realizing that crypto isn’t just an asset class to stash your paycheck in, it’s an entirely new avenue where they can connect with their fans,” said Nick MIllman, VP of Creator Partnerships at Rally. “Jarvis has a bold vision for his crypto that proves he’s passionate about putting in the time and effort to form meaningful relationships with his supporters.”
