This is the fourth consecutive year Alation has been named a Leader in the report and in March, Alation was named a 2020 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for Metadata Management Solutions. Alation was recognized by Gartner for ability to execute and completeness of vision. The company’s key strengths include market visibility and traction, innovation with machine learning (ML), and a focus on collaboration.
Innovation with machine learning is cited as a top strength for Alation due to its Behavioral Analysis Engine, which uses machine learning to derive insights about data usage patterns and drive automation and intelligence across the platform.
