Paradigm Learning and Advantexe Partner to Develop Digital Business Acumen Simulation
The new digital simulation, due to launch in the fall of 2020, is being jointly designed in response to the growing need for self-directed, self-paced business acumen learning solutions
Paradigm Learning, leaders in classroom-based business games and simulations, and Advantexe Learning Solutions, a global leader in digital simulation-centric training solutions, announced the launch of a partnership to co-develop and deliver an asynchronous business acumen simulation called Zodiak Pro.
The new digital simulation, due to launch in the fall of 2020, is being jointly designed in response to the growing need for self-directed, self-paced business acumen learning solutions. The simulation will combine the power of Paradigm’s award-winning Zodiak business acumen classroom programs with Advantexe’s proven and systemic approach to cloud-based simulation learning experiences. The goal of the simulation is to provide managers and other key employees with an opportunity to develop financial literacy and overall business acumen so that they can confidently and meaningfully impact the success of their departments, teams, and organizations.

In the Zodiak Pro simulation, the learner has been recently appointed by the Board of Directors to the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Zodiak Innovation Group. Despite steady financial growth, Zodiak has been struggling to keep pace with competition in an ever-changing and disrupted market. Over the course of three simulated years, the learner sets overall strategy and goals and works with a business coach, board members and senior team leaders to make day-to-day operational business decisions. The task includes increasing revenue, managing cash flow, turning a profit, growing shareholder value, and leading the company into the future with new product development.
The simulation will provide learners with the opportunity to enhance and strengthen their knowledge of important financial terms and concepts, and to build their business acumen by seeing how strategic decisions and actions in areas like marketing, sales, supply chain, R&D, human resources and more impact financial success.
According to Robb Gomez, COO of Paradigm Learning, “Working with Advantexe is energizing and exciting. The company’s unparalleled expertise in digital simulation design coupled with their extremely high quality standards make them an excellent partner for this exciting Zodiak Prodesign project.”

“We are very excited to be able to team up with Paradigm, the indisputable experts in classroom business simulations”, says Rob Brodo, CEO of Advantexe. “By combining our development capabilities and simulation platform, business modeling techniques, and experience in creating scalable virtual learning journeys with the proven success of Paradigm’s Zodiak business simulations, we are developing one of the most unique and innovative business simulations to hit the corporate training market.”
The simulation is being designed as an asynchronous learning experience and will leverage Advantexe’s Artificial Intelligence platform to enable and support learning, guidance, and feedback. The simulation can be integrated into LMS systems, leadership development curriculums, new manager learning programs and emerging and high-potential leader initiatives.
The program will be available to Zodiak clients as a learning extension for those who have attended a live session or as an alternative to Zodiak classroom sessions for targeted learners. It can also be used by any organization looking to enhance its leadership development offerings with a self-paced online approach to building business acumen knowledge and skills.
