APO Group is now supporting the next generation of Africans through sport and education as part of the SEED Project.

Did you know that in Senegal, only 39% percent of women are literate compared to 62% of men? This huge gender gap in education can be filled with sports training. SEED is playing a massively transformative role in Africa to educate, equip, and empower youth from around Africa with the right tools so that they, in turn, can become active actors of development on the African continent.

Working with SEED Means taking Technology and Skill Development Deep into Africa’s Most Underprivileged Regions

Swiss-based APO Group, a leading pan-African communication and business consultancy firm will now promote sports training through high-quality education among the African youth. According to UNESCO, 64% of the population in Senegal are under the age of 24, but poor literacy and lack of opportunity mean many either end up in poverty or take to discriminatory activities in other parts of the world. 78% percent of those aged 15-19 drop out before completing high school.

At the time of this announcement, SEED Project President Joseph Lopez said –

“APO Group shares our passion for helping the next generation of Africans, providing them with opportunities that might otherwise be out of reach. Through sport and education, we can ensure more talented young African people reach their potential and are able to shine on the world stage.”

“We are excited to be able to support SEED in the fantastic work they are doing with young people all over Africa,” said Nicolas Pompigne-Mognard, Founder and Chairman of APO Group. “APO Group has always championed African sport, and this kind of initiative gives us the chance to help young people change the narrative and achieve the success they deserve.”
