Global Education Nonprofit Asks Entrepreneurs to Innovate, Bridge the Digital Divide and Use Tech for Social Change
NFTE convenes diverse community of young people, UN experts, and leaders from industry, education and thenonprofit sphere to talk about fighting inequities and advancing the UN Global Goals
Every fall, Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) marks Global Entrepreneurship Week by convening a unique community for a panel discussion that explores the role of social entrepreneurs in advancing the UN Global Goals. This event is held annually in conjunction with NFTE’s World Series of Innovation (WSI), a global innovation challenge series for young people ages 13 to 24. The Sustainable Development Goals provide the framework for the WSI challenges and NFTE’s “Global Goals Conversation” usually takes place in the historic Delegates’ Dining Room at United Nations Headquarters in New York City, but this year the event will be fully virtual and we are inviting you to attend.
Moderator Mark Zandi of Moody’s Analytics will engage panelists from the UN, Citi, Ernst & Young (EY), Cloud to Street, and Code4Tomorrow (C4T), a student-run nonprofit, on the topic of how entrepreneurs can use technology to create social change and help the world emerge from this crucible—of pandemic, unemployment, economic recession, an expanding wealth gap, and increasing social unrest—ready to build a more equitable and inclusive society.
