Akers Appointment Comes as Option3Ventures Adds to Its Investment in Veracity through its O3V Cyber Special Situations portfolio
Option3Ventures, a leading cybersecurity investment specialist firm, announced that Greg Akers, a member of its prestigious Technology Board, has joined Veracity Industrial Networks as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Veracity Industrial Networks, a developer of Industrial SDN-based technology for operational networks, recently joined the O3V Cyber Special Situations portfolio. As CTO, Akers will help implement the expansion of Veracity Industrial Networks and guide its strategy for technology innovation.

Akers brings Veracity Industrial Networks decades of executive experience focused on internet security. He last held the role of Chief Technology Officer within Cisco’s Security & Trust Organization. Before joining Cisco, Akers’ career included more than 15 years designing, building, and running large networks for Fortune 100 companies. Akers has also advised the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Intelligence Community for more than fifteen years.
