EasyDMARC Successfully Closed Its First Round of Investment
The cybersecurity startup EasyDMARC is providing the solution to prevent a global pandemic of cyber fraud. Losses from cyberattacks are projected to account for $30 trillion by 2025, 95% of which is a result of email phishing, taking into account that hacking is listed to be the 9th most powerful factor to shock the world – according to a World Economic Forum (WEF) study. And this is while EasyDMARC successfully closed an investment round led by Dutch seed investor Crosspring in November 2020, to accelerate its growth for the next 12 months.
“This investment is an important milestone for our startup as it opens new routes of expanding our user base and boosting email security development initiatives by the year 2022. Our mission is to make e-mail communication safe and accessible for as many corporations and individuals as possible”
FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) recorded 23,775 complaints and more than $1.7 billion in losses due to BEC fraud schemes. With all the urgency, it is expected to see an increase in corporate investments into anti-hacking security solutions in 2020 and 2021. While the pandemic has altered daily lives of millions of people both at home and at the workplace, in the “w*************” global reality of doing business, it has become crucial to implement and maintain necessary steps towards email security of a company.
