Accenture Acquires Future State to Expand Change Management Capabilities

The multinational professional services company Accenture has announced the acquisition of Future State, a change management consulting firm headquartered in Oakland, CA. The 75-person team will become a part of the Accenture family by joining the Talent & Organization/Human Potential practice. It will add specialized expertise focused on agile business transformation.

The current developments of Future State — ideas and innovation in life sciences, CPG, technological industries, product development enablement, business growth, and post-merger integration — add new methodologies that expand Accenture’s existing C-suite offerings.

Future State will complement Accenture’s recent Talent & Organization/Human Potential acquisition — Kates Kesler in 2020 — that aims to expand client offerings and create new ways to deliver value with a deep understanding of client needs and market challenges.
