Former Google, Amazon, and LinkedIn Tech Leader, Shama Keskar, Joins Nickelytics as CTO and Co-Founder

Nickelytics, a Techstars backed company innovating out-of-home advertising, is pleased to announce senior engineering leader and veteran tech entrepreneur Shama Keskar has joined the team as Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer.

Shama brings more than 14 years of seasoned engineering experience and a proven track record of software engineering and leadership at tech giants Google, LinkedIn, Visa, and Amazon. Shama will lead Nickelytics’ product roadmap and technology development as the company continues to build out the next generation marketplace for outdoor advertising.

Shama Keskar already had seen success in the startup space with one exit under her belt when she served as CTO of SpringSeattle that merged with ThinkSpace. Since then, she has served as Test Engineering Leader at VISA and Amazon, where she designed and managed the roadmap for Alexa Skills Store with Peers & Product leaders to deliver innovative products and features to Amazon customers.

Shama has lead system infrastructure as well as built, lead, and empowered top-performing teams. While at Google, Shama led the engineering productivity team and contributed to the Google Ads platform with over 600 million advertisers generating 98 percent of its revenue. At LinkedIn, her strategic and innovative leadership resulted in delivering high-quality, revamped LinkedIn mobile experiences within a short time span and contributing to more than 25 percent of its organic growth.

Throughout her career, Shama has continually demonstrated success managing multiple large-scale business and technology initiatives and excelled in directing a wide variety of complex yet innovative solutions while focusing on business growth and consumer-facing products.

Current Co-founder and CTO, Sven Hermann is stepping down from his current role and will continue to support the business in an advisory capacity.

The new hire comes amid a capital raise to evolve the company’s platform and create a more scalable marketplace. The Nickelytics team has secured more than $260,000 in investments so far through an equity crowdfunding investment campaign on Republic.co, which runs through May 1, 2021.

Nickelytics is on a mission to make real-world advertising campaigns as simple and effective as posting a Facebook ad.
