Becoming an RBA Member Showcases Renesas’ Commitment to Operate to the Highest Ethical and Social Standards
Renesas Electronics Corporation, a premier supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions, announced it has joined the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), a nonprofit organization founded in 2004 committed to supporting the rights and well-being of workers and communities worldwide affected by global supply chains. By joining the RBA, Renesas will fully support the vision and goals of the RBA to ensure that its manufacturing processes are environmentally responsible and that its workers are treated with respect and dignity.

The RBA provides a Code of Conduct, which is a set of social, environmental and ethical industry standards. The standards set out in the Code of Conduct reference international norms and standards including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, ILO International Labor Standards, OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, ISO and SA standards.
