Aleph.im Selected For the Sixth Season of Ubisoft’s Entrepreneurs Lab

Announces Ubisoft’s Core Channel Node on Aleph.im

Aleph.im, a cross-blockchain decentralized storage and computing network, announced that Ubisoft, the leading video game company, has selected aleph.im to participate in the sixth season of their incubator program, Entrepreneurs Lab. Aleph.im also took the opportunity to announce that Ubisoft is running a core channel node on aleph.im, furthering the development of the decentralized AWS-like network.

Since 2017, Ubisoft has demonstrated its commitment to collaborating with blockchain startups and exploring blockchain applications for gaming. According to Ubisoft, blockchain technology has the ability to empower players and enhance the gaming experience with new innovative features. A notable company in the gaming and entertainment industries, Ubisoft launched popular games including Just Dance and Assassin’s Creed, as well as programming game Rabbids Coding.

In addition to the successful selection for the program, Aleph.im also revealed that Ubisoft is running a core channel node, UbiStrat Lab, on the aleph.im network. This node will validate and manage the network, as well as provide storage resources to help dApps and protocols become fully decentralized. The aleph.im network is currently secured by 50 nodes and counting.

Startups selected for this season are Aleph.im (France), Anybrain (Portugal), Atlantide (France), BrainLeap (United States), Crucible (United Kingdom), Game Academy (United Kingdom), Guild of Guardians (Australia), Horizon (Canada), Lexiko (France), NonFungible (Canada), and Virtuleap (Portugal).
