LiveIntent Hires Neustar Vet as VP of Product Management Identity
LiveIntent, the people-based marketing platform powered by the email address, announced the hiring of Neustar vet Charlie Buckley as Vice President of Product Management Identity to head the company’s Identity Solutions Product organization. Buckley is charged with the growth and evolution of LiveIntent’s first-party Identity Graph and Addressability Solutions and will report to Mano Pillai, Chief Product Officer, who joined in March.
“The ability to access addressable inventory at scale has never been more critical,” said Pillai. “Marketers and publishers need a solution that can bridge the gaps that cookies will leave for them, and LiveIntent is answering that call. Charlie is joining at a pivotal moment for the industry, and we are excited to draw upon his vast experience to continue innovating our identity offering.”

Buckley comes to LiveIntent with over 25 years of experience in technical product management.
His work background involves overseeing strategy and full lifecycle for products and services in the internet access, cybersecurity, and data analytics industries for PSINet, AOL, and Network Solutions.
Most recently, Buckley served as VP of Product Management at PreciseTarget where he was the product lead responsible for consumer identity solutions that mapped authoritative identities to demographic and behavioral attributes and device ID’s to power marketing insight, analytic, and activation solutions. Prior to PreciseTarget, Buckley was Director of Product Management of Neustar and led the product development lifecycle for the Customer Intelligence product line, including Customer Identity Management Services, Consumer Identity Files, Omni-Channel Remarketing Services, Decision Navigator, and the UltraViolet Platform.

“As third-party cookies disappear, it’s becoming clearer by the day that brands and publishers need to double-down on their first-party data in order to succeed,” said Buckley. “As ad tech players have scrambled to develop identity solutions, LiveIntent has emerged uniquely equipped to provide a viable solution, because it already has a privacy-compliant, first-party identifier at the core of its technology, replacing the cookie with the hashed email. I’m excited to join LiveIntent to help them continue building off of the success they’ve seen to date with their framework and bring our industry into the next era of marketing.”
With email at the center, LiveIntent’s Identity framework, launched in 2019, connects to all possible identifiers, allowing the first-party data vaults that publishers and brands have built to connect to the ecosystem without having to rely on walled gardens. Earlier this year, LiveIntent announced an identity partnership with MediaMath and last year, LiveIntent announced four partnerships – Kochava, InfoSum, FullContact and Magnite – all providing a critical component to LiveIntent’s identity offering.
