“As Candy continues to build the official NFT ecosystem for Major League Baseball, we’re thrilled to unveil the ‘MLB Stadium Series’ to give each team’s fan base access to unique digital products that bring them closer to the ballparks and sport they love,” said Scott Lawin, CEO of Candy Digital. “Each venue has its own rich history, with cherished moments both on and off the field, and we’re excited to work with MLB and S. Preston to  create a new series of baseball fandom collectibles.”

“It’s an incredibly exciting time to be part of the NFT space working with MLB and Candy,” said S. Preston. “My passion for sports and clean design really shows in this collection. As a digital artist, there is no ‘original artwork’ for these pieces, so these Candy NFT releases allow me to finally offer exclusively licensed 1 of 1 and collectable versions of my ballpark art.”

The “MLB Stadium Series” marks Candy Digital’s third MLB product collection since becoming the league’s Official Partner for NFTs and DIgital Collectibles in June. The company launched the 1 of 1 Lou Gehrig “Luckiest Man” NFT of the New York Yankees Hall of Famer, with the auction raising more than $70,000 for ALS charities, as well as the first-ever World Series NFT in partnership with the defending champion, Los Angeles Dodgers. That auction, in which the winner also received a 2020 World Series ring and a first-pitch opportunity before a Dodgers game, raised nearly $130,000 for the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation.
