Tasq.ai Raises $4Million Seed Funding To Enable Ultra Fast AI Development

Tasq.ai’s platform is the first to offer unlimited scale, enabling a 30x speed improvement vs. competition while improving the quality of data labeling and eliminating biases. The round sees participation by a group of angel investors, including Professor Shai Dekel, the former Head of AI at Wix.com and Principal Scientist at GE.

Tasq.ai, the next-generation Ultra Scale Labeling Platform for AI announced a $4M financing round of seed funding from a group of angel investors, which includes Wix’s former Head of AI, Professor Shai Dekel.

Tasq.ai’s funding comes as the importance of developing and incorporating AI-driven capabilities is more critical than ever for businesses, yet their existing options remain inflexible, biased, costly, and slow. Tasq.ai’s next-generation data annotation platform provides companies access to millions of global Tasqers that complete identification tasks to unlock premium content. Tasq.ai’s platform, which is 30x faster than competitors, provides a nearly unlimited supply of data identifiers, enables a usage-based pricing model in contrast to inflexible dedicated teams, and significantly reduces biases compared to “trained” business process outsourcing.

The funding round will be utilized for rapid market expansion, including opening field offices in New York and Chicago. The new offices will be responsible for sales and business development, including signing partnership agreements to bolster Tasq’s pool of data annotators further. The agreements will build upon existing relationships with several of the world’s leading ad-tech networks, which help identify Tasqers and provide access to premium content after completing identification tasks. Additionally, the company will continue building out its R&D team in Israel to improve the product further and expand its advantage vis-a-vis competitors.

“We’re bringing the usage model that Amazon pioneered for cloud storage to data annotation for AI. It’s going to completely upend the way AI is built and eliminate the data bottlenecks that are slowing progress,” said Tasq.ai, Co-founder and CEO Erez Moscovich. “This round of funding paired with our existing revenue will allow us to more rapidly expand adoption, build out our R&D here in Israel, and solidify our presence in the US with offices in New York and Chicago.”

“Everyone knows that AI capabilities are a must-have, but only those of us who have built AI companies and products understand the extent of the massive data annotation bottleneck issue that Tasq.ai is the first to solve,” said investor Professor Shai Dekel. “They’re alone at the forefront of the data annotation field and that’s a tremendous achievement and advantage, not to mention a big leap forward for the development of AI. Tasq.ai’s success means expanding access to the ability to quickly build great AI and more effective applications that will be a boon to businesses and users alike.”
