DreamView Creative Studio ‘Pholio’ Tapped As Lead Developer To Create Chibi Dinos Playable Universe

Pioneering visual effects and metaverse content creation company brings NFTs to life in a mobile app experience that includes a compete-to-earn basketball game and a role-playing adventure game

DreamView, a globally scalable creative strategy and content solutions company and its brand-direct creative studio, Pholio, have been selected to create a playable universe for the Chibi Dinos, 10,000 uniquely generated NFTs, that includes a compete-to-earn basketball game called Primal Hoop and a role-playing adventure game called Chibi Adventures. Pholio consists of ​​DreamView’s Chief Officer of Production, Jared Sandrew; executive producer, Ian Dawson and creative director, Jonah Hall.

A Chibi Dino is 1 of 10,000 uniquely generated stylized 2D characters composed of randomly combined traits at mint, with 3D rendered characters to be released in 6–8 weeks. No two Dinos are alike. In Primal Hoop, the Chibis all play on one of ten different Dino-themed basketball teams captained by real-world professional NBA/WNBA players.

“We went through a comprehensive RFP process when considering the development of the Primal Hoop game and after reviewing dozens of proposals we were confident in choosing DreamView as our lead developer,” said Sean Kelly, founder of Chibi Dinos. “Not only was it their track record of creating innovative mobile games in and out of the NFT space but it was the leadership at the company that hooked us. It’s rare in this NFT space to work with a CEO directly on a project that is just in its early stages like ours.”

Chibi Dinos has also partnered with Victory Square Technologies Inc. portfolio company GameOn Entertainment Technologies Inc., which entails Chibi Dinos utilizing GameOn’s NFT Prediction Game product to give their 10,000 digital dinos utility in gaming. Chibi Dinos is collaborating with ProTrending on a line of merchandise as well. The Chibis are available for purchase with Ethereum on the OpenSea NFT marketplace.
