CLIPr, a Video Analysis and Management (VAM) platform using AI and machine learning to index video content to help people work better with video, today announced its CLIPr Freemium All-hands program for Microsoft Teams customers. CLIPr’s VAM platform helps users discover important moments within recorded video content so they can search, engage, interact and share what they care about with ease. CLIPr is designed to address the challenges resulting from the huge uptick in virtual meetings, which is expected to persist as many companies shift permanently to fully remote or hybrid workplaces.
Recorded videos are processed by CLIPr’s machine learning (ML) algorithms, which analyze audio and visual cues using natural language processing and computer vision to index the key topics and visual cues in each video. CLIPr recommends content based on user behavior, and users can search for content using keywords, emojis, or speaker names. Users can also create personalized video highlight reels of their meetings to reference and share securely. CLIPr makes it easy to follow up and take action within the comforts of Teams. CLIPr also allows users to ingest recorded videos from Google Drive, Zoom, and any MP4 file or video streamable URL.
“Microsoft Teams has seen unprecedented growth in users and meeting length over the last year and half,” said Brighu Sareen, corporate vice president of Microsoft Teams. “Therefore, we are constantly looking into new tools and technologies to help our customers increase productivity and improve their experiences in the virtual workplace. Technologies such as CLIPr that are capable of easily extracting and recalling information from video content will be crucial for the future of work.”

“As enterprises adjust to the increase in virtual meetings and time spent in them, we are excited to launch the CLIPr Freemium All-hands program allowing employees to easily discover the information they need from meetings, and ultimately improve productivity and engagement in the virtual and hybrid workplace,” said Humphrey Chen, CEO of CLIPr. “We’re excited to offer this first fully-integrated experience to Microsoft Teams customers, followed by other workplace and video conferencing platforms.”
