TierPoint Launches Hosted Private Cloud Powered by Nutanix

Responds to Growing Demand for Hybrid Cloud and Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) Solutions

TierPoint, a leading provider of secure, connected data center and cloud solutions at the edge of the internet, announced the broad availability of its newest service, Hosted Private Cloud powered by Nutanix Enterprise Cloud software.

TierPoint will manage the Nutanix-powered solution in house and make the new service available in 40 U.S. data centers, all of which are HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GLBA, and SSAE 18 compliant. TierPoint can also customize the core service, according to clients’ unique needs, with options such as managing past the hypervisor into the operating system and/or seamlessly integrating other managed services like storage, backup, disaster recovery, next-generation firewall, and other advanced security features.

TierPoint is already in the process of installing Nutanix-based solutions for several clients and has a growing list of similar opportunities in its sales pipeline. TierPoint is also planning other related product releases this year, including Nutanix Enterprise Cloud software-based Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS).
