At Vivatech, la Vitre and Fosfor let visitors take the plunge into experiencing a new genre named: Holoportation. la Vitre’s screens already allow a real sense of presence, an experience further heightened by the Fosfor’s own Crystalman. This allows the Crystalman to propose a human, virtual interaction in full-size 3D for a completely novel experience.

A virtual customer experience
Particularly suited to retail, this collaboration between la Vitre and Fosfor delivers a unique shopping experience. Thanks to holographic projection, the client can interact with an expert, no matter the distance. This allows for new use cases such as product personalization or purchasing in real-time. la Vitre’s integrated tools allow for writing on the Crystalman’s screen, sharing of documents, catalogues and other multimedia files from a computer, a tablet or a smartphone. The tools also offer real-time translation through the use of subtitles.
he Crystalman experience can be applied to other sectors, such as event management, transport and industry. For instance, it allows to:

  • Increase the impact of professional events, or events in public places
  • Revolutionize store windows, or teleport experts to boost sales
  • Rethink the interactive experience in museums, plenary sessions etc.
