Vacansoleil Expands Across Europe with Contentstack
Luxury holiday operator goes headless to drive massive growth
Contentstack, the Content Experience Platform (CXP) category leader, announced it has been selected by European holiday operator Vacansoleil. The Contentstack headless CMS replaces a legacy system that is no longer able to accommodate the aggressive growth Vacansoleil is experiencing, and will improve agility and speed as the holiday operator continues to expand across Europe.

Following a thorough review of the market, Contentstack was chosen based on the user-experience, the ease of API integration, the speed of the content publishing workflows and the drastically reduced development time in updating content.
With properties and sites in 20 different countries, Vacansoleil has recently started developing a new website to function as the core of a range of digital experiences across 13 domains and 10 different languages. Contentstack will integrate and localize an established library of content such as brochures, as well as original material for new properties.

“Upgrading our CMS addresses multiple issues for us. As part of our drive for growth, we are onboarding a lot of new properties, adding new offerings and expanding throughout Europe incredibly quickly,” said Alexander Backers, senior marketing manager, Vacansoleil. “This means it is imperative for us to establish new digital capabilities quickly to protect revenue. In addition, we have a lot of talent within the organisation that is currently frustrated with existing technology, and we look forward to unleashing a new wave of creativity throughout our digital experiences as we move at speed and at scale.”
“The reasons for Vacansoleil choosing headless CMS are a textbook example of how
businesses now recognize that they can enjoy both speed and scale, when it comes to the new generation of content management,” said Ramon Weterings, vice-president for EMEA and APAC at Contentstack. “The immediate benefit of securing revenue and getting new properties up and running quicker is a complete business case in itself, but the additional benefits of greater productivity and creativity show that organizations that embrace MACH technologies get a better return for their investment.”
