NAVER Cloud Spurs the Expansion of Global SaaS Ecosystem with a win-win Cooperation Strategy
NAVER Cloud (CEO, Park Won-ki, Kim Yu-won) spurs the expansion of global SaaS ecosystem while enabling Korean SME SaaS companies to grow and solidify its position as a global company by providing for general matters necessary for opening a new market with the motto of win-win.
NAVER Cloud has been carrying out the Large, Medium and Small Companies’ Global Advance Business to boost the global advance of domestic SME SaaS companies in association with the Large, Medium and Small Agriculture and Fisheries Cooperation Foundations under the Ministry of SME Venture since 2019.
In particular, SaaS Day in Vietnam is an export counseling session that aims to provide SME SaaS companies with a new business opportunity by strengthening overseas capabilities through meeting and offline networking with overseas buyers. Through this business, NAVER Cloud supported nine SaaS companies partnering with itself and Korea Water Resources Corporation to open a new sales channel and expand a business in Vietnamese Market.

On top of that, the performance of SaaS companies that entered into partnership with NAVER Cloud through the 2022 Large, Medium and Small Companies’ Global Advance Business was also notable. The new overseas sale reached about KRW1.1 billion, along with contracts worth about KRW2.95 billion. The number of export counseling with overseas buyers also surpassed 285 cases, raising exports to about KRW1.59 billion. The number of exporting countries increased by 13 to 35 compared to the previous year, and the number of overseas accounts largely increased from 88 to 125 this year.
NAVER Cloud representative said, “NAVER Cloud has been seeking win-win situations while providing an exhaustive support for enhancing the self-growth ability of SME SaaS companies in the fast-changing global market,” adding “We will expand our ground and capabilities to grow together with foreign SME SaaS companies, as well as domestic companies, by providing our abundant infrastructure and various professional education and consulting.”
