Isos Technology Strengthens Atlassian Public Sector and Agile Practices with Acquisition of HyperVelocity

Isos Technology, a leading Atlassian Platinum Solution & Enterprise Partner, announced the acquisition of HyperVelocity, an Atlassian professional services firm with over 49 Atlassian-accredited specialists. This follows Isos Technology’s recent acquisition by The Acacia Group, specialist investors in digital transformation, as the cornerstone of Acacia’s strategy to build the leading partner in the Atlassian ecosystem. While formally combining with Isos, HyperVelocity will continue to be customer-facing under its own brand name.

Founded in 2014 and based in Vancouver, Washington, the HyperVelocity team specializes in working with enterprise and government clients to optimize their investment in Atlassian, helping their teams collaborate, build, and create. Like Isos, HyperVelocity is an Atlassian Platinum Solution Partner. Through this acquisition, Isos bolsters its Agile Services offering and public sector footprint. HyperVelocity has a wealth of experience honed through years of Agile coaching for enterprise clients, offering bespoke Atlassian and Agile Services to federal, state, and local government agencies. It has worked with some of the world’s leading brands and performed on mission-critical projects for a range of federal agencies.

The combination of HyperVelocity with Isos is the latest step in Acacia’s pureplay Atlassian growth strategy. In December 2022, Acacia acquired Isos and brought it together with the Atlassian practice of MajorKey Technologies, another Acacia company at the forefront of enterprise digital transformation. The combined business has over 130 Atlassian-accredited specialists, placing it firmly among the top 5 companies in Atlassian’s global partner ecosystem. With extensive expertise across ITSM, Agile, DevOps, and cloud migration, its team has decades of experience helping hundreds of enterprise and public sector clients get the most value from their Atlassian investment.

“This is an exciting and transformative time for us,” said Thad West, CEO of Isos Technology. “We’ve recently joined forces with the talented Atlassian practice of MajorKey, and now we’re fortunate to be able to welcome the HyperVelocity team to the fold. From the moment we met them with our colleagues from Acacia, we felt a remarkable cultural alignment with the folks at HyperVelocity. We have been hugely impressed with their rapid growth and vast knowledge and experience around Agile and working with the public sector. We look forward to continued growth and expansion in the Atlassian ecosystem for years to come.”
