DataLocker Launches SafeCrypt Encrypted Virtual Drive for SafeConsole
SafeCrypt Encrypted Virtual Drive Secures Data with AES 256-Bit Encryption That Can Be Stored Anywhere
DataLocker Inc., the leading provider of advanced encryption solutions, announced the relaunch of SafeCrypt, with a new take on an existing encrypted storage solution. SafeCrypt is a storage agnostic, cross-platform compatible, virtual drive that provides a layer of military grade, AES 256-bit encryption for data no matter where it’s stored.
“SafeCrypt is seamlessly integrated with DataLocker’s SafeConsole central management platform. SafeConsole allows administrators to inventory, audit, and control all SafeCrypt endpoints remotely.”
DataLocker is known for its suite of hardware encrypted storage devices, but today’s organizations store tremendous amounts of information locally, on the web, and on unsecure portable storage devices. In its continuous effort to provide their customers complete and diverse solutions for encrypting data at rest, DataLocker brings you SafeCrypt.

Designed for organizations with security policies that don’t allow external storage devices, or users who store data in the cloud, SafeCrypt is a file encryption application that ensures your sensitive data is secured and encrypted. By creating a virtual drive using SafeCrypt, files stored on the encrypted virtual drive are encrypted at the desktop level and stored on the user’s preferred storage location fully secured.
“SafeCrypt is an encrypted virtual drive where for the first time, users are in control of their own encryption. Encrypting your data is as easy as entering your password and reading and writing to the virtual drive letter,” said Jay Kim, CEO, DataLocker. “SafeCrypt is seamlessly integrated with DataLocker’s SafeConsole central management platform. SafeConsole allows administrators to inventory, audit, and control all SafeCrypt endpoints remotely.”
