Cognite, the globally recognized authority in Data and AI for industry, today announced Guru Ananthanarayanan has been appointed Managing Director of Cognite India. This strategic step enhances the company’s charge in Industrial AI, enabling Energy, Process, and Manufacturing to serve its customers globally.

Cognite is actively hiring the best and brightest software engineers, product managers, designers, and domain and services experts to fulfill its aspirations.

Ananthanarayanan’s work history includes managing multi-million-dollar software projects for Fortune 500 companies and building high-performance teams to deliver complex solutions in a distributed onsite-offshore model. He served as the Vice President and Country Lead, India for Blue Yonder and as an engineer at Hyundai. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Manufacturing from BITS, Pilani.
At the outset, the ICoE will add 100+ experts to the Cognite team, including top talent in AI/ML, data science, engineering, services and program management. Additionally, Cognite is currently reaching out to industry, technology partners, and academia to foster partnerships and co-innovation.
