“Health plans continue to operate with legacy technology, fragmented data and complex point solutions that impede innovation and advancements to the health consumer experience”

The acquisition further establishes mPulse as a leader in healthcare innovation, meaningfully expanding its scale while maintaining a strong profitable growth profile. mPulse now partners with over 400 leading healthcare organizations including 29 of the 30 largest health plans in the country. The transaction combines mPulse’s HXI technology, which integrates health portals, omnichannel consumer engagement and predictive analytics, with Zipari’s proven ability to enable healthcare organizations to drive highest-value customer engagement actions while streamlining back-office workflows. The elements of the combination will deliver transformational value for health plans, third party administrators (TPAs) and leading healthcare organizations through elevated consumer experiences, operational efficiencies and better health outcomes.

“Health plans continue to operate with legacy technology, fragmented data and complex point solutions that impede innovation and advancements to the health consumer experience,” said Bob Farrell, CEO of mPulse. “Together, Zipari and mPulse provide enhanced digital offerings that expand the abilities of healthcare organizations to understand and anticipate the needs of health consumers by delivering agile, personalized experiences at every step of the consumer health journey. We are excited to welcome Zipari’s world-class team and industry leading customers to mPulse.”

The Zipari team is aligned with mPulse’s core values, ready to leverage their expertise and innovation to drive better outcomes for partners and consumers.”

This is mPulse’s fourth acquisition since PSG became the company’s majority shareholder in December 2021. These transactions focus on bringing together foundational health engagement capabilities that all leading health organizations need, but historically have only been provided by separate, fragmented technology vendors. mPulse is making the market more cohesive and easier for healthcare organizations to navigate, while rapidly expanding its share of the digital health ecosystem.
