The new feature uses Microsoft Azure AI Language to generate intelligent summaries of scanned mail, helping attorneys and staff instantly assess the content and priority of their incoming correspondence.

As law firms and corporate law departments continue to operate across hybrid environments, fast, secure access to daily mail remains essential. Airmail2 delivers scanned mail directly into each recipient’s designated DMS folder, including iManage or NetDocuments. Now, the email notification includes a brief, AI-generated summary alongside the document sender, date/time, number of pages, and a thumbnail of the first page. This added layer of insight empowers attorneys to act faster and smarter.

Airmail2 AI-Powered Notification Summaries are generated using abstractive summarization, which produces new, concise descriptions rather than copying content directly. Summaries and corresponding images are encrypted, managed privately within the firm’s Airmail2 Cloud instance and retained according to the customer’s own data governance policies.
