Ceva Launches New Brand Identity Reflecting its Focus on Smart Edge IP  Innovation

New ModelNova platform delivers developer-ready AI models for Ceva’s ultra-low power NeuPro-Nano NPU, and will extend to high-performance NeuPro-M NPUs, accelerating smart edge innovation

As the industry accelerates toward “physical AI” – bringing artificial intelligence out of the cloud and into the real world to enable machines to autonomously perceive and understand their environments – Ceva, Inc., the leading licensor of silicon and software IP for the Smart Edge announced a partnership with embedUR systems to launch a dedicated instance of the ModelNova platform for Ceva’s NeuPro NPU family. Purpose-built for edge AI inference across a wide range of devices, this collaboration expands Ceva’s Edge AI ecosystem by delivering a rich library of developer-ready AI models optimized for ultra-low-power NeuPro-Nano NPUs and high-performance NeuPro-M NPUs.

ModelNova, developed and maintained by embedUR, is a developer-centric destination for Edge AI building blocks, including models, datasets, and use-case blueprints. The Ceva-specific instance will host a curated selection of models from both companies, enabling rapid prototyping and deployment of AI features in wearables, hearables, smart home devices, and other AIoT applications powered by NeuPro-Nano NPU IP. It will also support larger workloads on NeuPro-M such as industrial automation, robotics, smart cameras, and AR/VR, while providing a roadmap for transformer-based architectures, LLMs, and generative AI.

Accelerating AI Innovation at the Edge
At launch, ModelNova will feature a growing library of models optimized with TensorFlow Lite Micro and integrated with Ceva’s NeuPro Studio SDK. These models support features that allow autonomous interaction with the real world, from object detection and face recognition to pose estimation, audio denoising, keyword spotting, and anomaly detection. Each model includes performance metrics, execution scripts, and dataset descriptions to streamline evaluation and integration.
