As a foundational partner for Accenture Edge, a new Accenture business designed for mid-market companies with $300 million to $3 billion in annual revenue, AWS provides advanced AI and cloud services as well as dedicated resources to help Accenture build and deploy differentiated solutions that support the needs of mid-market organizations. The collaboration is centered on helping mid-market organizations modernize core systems, strengthen security and drive real business outcomes.
“Mid-market companies need practical ways to adopt AI, modernize their technology foundations and compete at speed with solutions designed for their scale,” said Srini Subramanian, CEO of Accenture Edge. “Our Accenture Edge collaboration with AWS brings together Accenture’s industry and functional expertise with AWS’s cloud and AI services to deliver repeatable, right-sized offerings that help mid-market clients move faster from ambition to impact.”
“What matters for mid-market organizations isn’t just access to technology, it’s seeing returns from it,” said Chris Sullivan, vice president, Americas and Industry partner sales & development, AWS. “Accenture Edge solutions are built on AWS advanced cloud and AI services that give customers the security, model choice and cost flexibility to modernize with confidence and drive real ROI. Accenture Edge brings the delivery expertise to turn that technology into business outcomes, helping mid-market organizations modernize faster and drive measurable impact across their operations.”
Building on Mid-Market Success
This collaboration will help scale the success the two companies have already achieved in helping mid-market organizations accelerate technology transformation and realize impact.
For example, with 407 ETR, an all-electronic open-access toll highway in the greater Toronto area, NeuraFlash, part of Accenture Edge, and AWS built a new contact center foundation while keeping operations running smoothly for the customer service organization that manages the ongoing billing questions, payments, account updates and service requests for the Ontario highway.
“Modernizing our contact center was about more than technology—it was about delivering a better experience for our customers and our team,” said Pritam Ambekar, director, IT applications portfolio delivery, customer channels & platforms at 407 ETR. “By working with NeuraFlash, part of Accenture, to move to a cloud-based platform built on Amazon Connect, with AI-powered self-service and real-time agent support, we’ve achieved 99.9% platform reliability and kept call and chat abandonment rates at 5% or less. The transition of more than 250 employees to a unified system positions us to serve customers more efficiently and at greater scale than ever before.”
