Building an AI agent is no longer the hard part. Running it in production, on the models, clouds, and data an enterprise already has and under the controls its business requires, is where the real work begins.Dataiku, the Platform for AI Success, announced that it has been named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Agentic AI Platforms 2026 Vendor Assessment Doc. #US54140926, October 2026.

Dataiku lets enterprises build, deploy, and govern AI agents on any model or cloud, with the same controls applied from first build through production. According to the report, “Dataiku’s agentic AI platform draws agent build and deploy capabilities from the core Dataiku platform and Agent Hub; orchestration, security, and governance capabilities are fed by its LLM Mesh.” With Dataiku, teams can build agents either through a visual designer or third-party coding tools.

“The platform decision is becoming a lifecycle decision, not a build decision,” said Neil Ward-Dutton, Research VP, Agentic Automation & AI Technologies at IDC. “Dataiku was recognized in this assessment for supporting agents across that whole lifecycle, on the clouds, data, and models enterprises already run on. That’s a shift we’re seeing across the market as buyers get more disciplined about what they put into production.”

The IDC MarketScape noted Dataiku for the following strengths:

  • Agnostic, sophisticated agent management layer: Dataiku’s LLM Mesh lets agents use any LLM and data source and provides one place where sophisticated operational controls can be applied to agents. A unified monitoring capability creates a single place to track the health, drift, and performance of data pipelines, ML models, and agentic applications, and to analyze the root causes of any problems.
  • Strong agent lifecycle governance: In addition to enabling LLM Mesh to apply operational controls to AI agents, Dataiku Govern provides workflow tooling to define and enforce approval and compliance policies throughout the agent development and deployment lifecycle.
  • Sovereign, full-stack deployment: The entire Dataiku stack can be deployed on-premises or even air-gapped for sensitive workloads.

“Nobody knows which model, tool, or cloud will matter in three years, but enterprises can’t wait to find out,” said Florian Douetteau, CEO and co-founder of Dataiku. “The agents they put into production today have to meet the same security and compliance bar, whatever they run on next. That’s what a platform has to deliver.”
