SAP and Verizon have collaborated to provide holistic IoT Analytics solutions that process enterprises’ data right from assembly lines to retail stores on a real-time basis.
The enterprise solutions will make the best use of Verizon’s network and platform capabilities. Their capabilities will be integrated into SAP solutions such as SAP Leonardo Internet of Things (IoT) solution, SAP Edge Services among others. When coupled with SAP Leonardo IoT, this enables aggregate time-series analysis. The process can be contextualized with master data, geolocation and condition-based monitoring for outbound logistics business processes.

SAP Field Service Management solution, based on the analytics can generate automatic service calls, driving. This essentially means the managers will get a recommendation to push the right technician to repair malfunctioning assets. Similarly, Verizon’s ThingSpace platform provides developers tools to build and deploy connectivity and manage data capture for CAS and hundreds of other certified IoT devices on behalf of the companies.
