Ospitek is starting the new year with the release of a new module, extending the workflow and communication support for its ambulatory surgery center clientele. Complimenting Ospitek’s recently released “View” surgical center management software, the IoT-Temperature module further extends the platforms already robust suite of surgical center management tools.

Surgical centers will be able to strategically place sensors in operating rooms, refrigerators, and any other areas requiring temperature and humidity monitoring. Surgical centers will be able to customize the temperature and humidity boundaries within the View software’s existing admin panel. Once set, both real-time and historical temperature and humidity data is made available and alerts are pushed to designated surgical center staff should there be any temperature, or humidity, variances that fall outside of the established boundaries for the respective sensor locations.
