ACI Worldwide’s Rawan Shawar Wins ‘Rising Star’ Award at Women in Payments USA Symposium
ACI Worldwide, a leading global provider of real-time electronic payment and banking solutions, announced that Rawan Shawar, senior software engineer, has been recognized at the US Women in Payments Symposium, receiving the ‘Rising Star’ award for her technical excellence, leadership capabilities, mentorship and advocacy efforts.
Since joining ACI, Rawan has held numerous roles in the Product Development division, and currently leads a team of engineers responsible for ACI’s UP Retail Payments solution, which is used around the world by leading banks and financial institutions. Additionally, Rawan is actively involved in ACI’s Women’s Initiative (WIN) program and is a mentor for Money20/20’s ‘Rise Up’ academy.
