T7520 has four Arm Cortex-A76 cores and four Arm-Cortex-A55 cores with an Arm Mali G57-based GPU and offers an incredible streaming and gaming experience at 5G speeds.
T7520, which was developed on the Makalu-5G platform from UNISOC, integrates the world’s first 5G modem that supports an improvement in coverage for every application scenario (1) . By allowing network operators to use 5G on their existing 4G spectra, T7520 extends the application of UNISOC’s patented, wide-bandwidth dynamic frequency sharing technology and maximizes the use of existing resources to collaborate and share for a cheaper and cheaper to facilitate faster deployment of 5G. In particular, the T7520 is optimized for use in high-speed trains at 500KM / h and offers passengers a first-class 5G experience.
“T7520 builds on some of the world’s leading technologies and offers vastly improved performance with a new low energy consumption,” said Steve Chu , CEO of UNISOC . “Their open and innovative architecture shows our commitment to working with partners to provide users with a superior intelligent experience.”

UNISOC T7520 has the following main features:
- State-of-the-art 6nm EUV process technology : This process technology uses extremely ultraviolet light with an extremely short wavelength of 13.5 nm, which offers extremely high lithographic resolution with an accuracy close to the X-rays and achieves a better balance between cost, performance and power consumption. Compared to the previous 7 nm process, the 6 nm process has an 18% improved transistor density. As a result, more transistors can be integrated per unit area and power consumption can be reduced by 8%, which enables a longer battery life.
- Leader in low power consumption : T7520 adopts the new generation of UNISOC architecture with low power consumption and AI-based power control technology. Compared to mobile platforms paired with a separate 5G modem, the T7520 is the all-round leader in low power consumption for both light and heavy load scenarios and offers up to 35% reduction in power consumption for some data business scenarios.
- World’s first 5G modem that supports coverage improvement for all scenarios (1) : The modem supports 5G NR TDD + FDD carrier aggregation and uplink and downlink decoupling and can improve coverage by more than 100%. The innovative 5G super transmitter technology from UNISOC can increase the uplink speed by up to 60% and meet demanding scenarios such as VR and ultra-high-resolution 4K / 8K live streaming. T7520 supports the sub-6GHz band, NSA / SA dual mode networks and 2G to 5G networks. In SA mode, it offers a peak uplink speed of more than 3.25 Gbps. It also supports dual SIM dual 5G and EPS fallback and high-resolution audio and video calls with VoNR.
- Powerful AI skills and limitless development potential: T7520 integrates a new generation NPU with greatly improved performance and excellent energy efficiency. Energy efficiency (TOPS / W) is more than 50% higher than that of the previous generation. Innovative design can better support complex AI applications in high-performance mode with low power consumption.
- Extensively improved multimedia processing options: T7520 is equipped with the proprietary Vivimagic solution of the sixth generation and FDR (Full Dynamic Range) technology from UNISOC, a special AI accelerator and an improved four-core ISP architecture to provide one enable ultra-high resolution of 100 MP and multi-camera processing capability. Together with ACUTElogic’s leading image technologies, these deliver exceptional photo quality and unlimited video capture capabilities.
T7520 uses a new generation multicore display architecture and supports a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. With omni-channel and HDR rendering capabilities for all formats, the multi-screen display supports up to4K in HDR10 + quality. This can greatly improve the user experience for games with high frame rates, 5G UHD videos and VR / VR applications. - Financial Integrated Security : T7520 uses the second generation integrated security solution from UNISOC. This solution integrates the Secure Element into the SOC at a financial level and offers greater security than the embedded SE. It offers a 100% improvement in computing power and supports computing-intensive security scenarios such as encrypted video calls. It also supports most crypto algorithms and better scalability and offers a larger storage capacity that supports more than 100 applications. Thanks to a high degree of integration, T7520 significantly reduces the difficulties in PCB design and also lowers the cost of device design and manufacture, providing customers with a more competitive solution.
