TOYO Extends Global Leadership in Network Monitoring With First 200 Gbps Portable Monitoring Solution for Telco Networks
Napatech, the leading provider of reconfigurable computing platforms, announced that it was selected by TOYO Corporation, a leading APAC test and measurement company, to improve the quality of 5G mobile networks for its carrier customers. The resultant TOYO SYNESIS solution is the world’s first-ever 200 Gbps portable monitoring solution engineered for 5G cellular telecommunication networks.
To deliver and assure the 5G promises of advanced services, operators must have the ability to monitor and record at line rate to provide network and application quality monitoring, measurement and assurance. TOYO chose Napatech to meet the network performance requirements of its platform and solution. Napatech’s FPGA-based SmartNIC software and hardware allowed TOYO to scale to multi-100 Gbps in a portable, low-cost platform – which has never been achieved before.
