Infosys CEO: 93% Workforce Engaged from Home; Focus to Deliver Agile Service and Achieve Strong Financial Resilience

While the world fights to stay locked-down to maintain social distancing and practice quarantine, we are seeing champions from various industries doing their best to motivate everyone. FY20 Off to a Good Start: 37.8% Growth in Digital Portfolio

In an official announcement, Infosys CEO has pledged that his company would continue to deliver consistent service to clients in this rapidly changing environment.

Salil Parekh, Infosys CEO and MD said, “We had an exceptional year in the financial year 2020 with a growth of 9.8% and operating margin of 21.3%. While the immediate short-term will be challenging, looking ahead, we can see that there is a strong interest to consolidate with partners with high-quality and agile service delivery and strong financial resilience. I am confident we will emerge from this stronger.”

Infosys CEO added that his team is working “exceptionally well to achieve 93% remote working today.”

Salil affirmed his company’s stance by saying, “Our focus on the health of our employees and our commitment to our clients helped us navigate the past few weeks.”

In another personal message to employees, Salil Parekh also stated that the company is well-equipped to sustain their business goals. Infosys has asserted that they will execute the business continuity plans and take steps to sustain operation readiness, keeping in mind the safety of every employee and community.

Currently, the Infosys team supports services in 46 countries. At places where employees are required to provide servicing to critical operations, Infosys is following government advisories and communicating to local authorities to ensure safe transportation, accommodation and hygiene standards of these key personnel.

For example, Siemens selected Infosys to deploy Wingspan, Infosys’ Digital Learning, and Talent Transformation Platform. Siemens deployed this next generation, talent transformation platform to enhance the virtual learning experience for 385,000 Siemens employees.

Infosys is partnering with GE Appliances to accelerate their digital and workplace transformation through automation-driven managed IT services support across global command centers, service desks, end-user computing, IT infrastructure, and applications.

Similarly, E.ON has awarded Infosys a multi-year engagement to run and transform its future workplace services. Reckitt Benckiser (RB) and Infosys have partnered to reimagine RB’s overall infrastructure and application operations. All these collaborations are playing an important part in the current fight against COVID-19.
