Which Disney Princess is the Eco-friendliest?

It’s fair to say that the launch of the Disney+ has reignited our love for Disney movies. Many have come to appreciate the positivity and life-lessons featured in many of the classic and modern movie titles, available on the online streaming platform.

One subtle, key theme in particular that has been praised by Disney fans is their dedication to the environment – whether it be through using sustainable materials to build their homes or saving energy. This is most apparent in Disney movies that revolve around famous Disney princesses, such as Snow White and Cinderella.

As a result, SaveonEnergy.com/uk/ sought to find out which Disney princess is the eco-friendliest by analyzing 12 original Disney princess films and finding out how many times their actions were helping the environment. For each eco-friendly action shown, the princess was awarded two points, in order to determine who is the most and least eco-friendly Disney princess.

Which Disney princess is the eco-friendliest of them all?

Our analysis can reveal that the most eco-friendly princess is Aurora, from Disney classic Sleeping Beauty (1959). This Disney princess earned a total of 20 eco-friendly points, ahead of Snow White and Cinderella who were awarded second and third spots respectively with 18 points.

On the other hand, Save on Energy can reveal that the least eco-friendly princess is Jasmine, from Disney classic Aladdin, who was awarded just 4 points. Just ahead of Jasmine was Tiana, from Princess and the Frog, who scored 6 points, and Merida, from Brave, with 8 points.
