Before founding Vectara, I was the VP of Developer Relations for Google Cloud, where I helped developers and businesses leverage the power of cloud computing. I was also the founder and global CTO of Cloudera, a leading platform for big data analytics and machine learning, where we pioneered the use of open source technologies such as Hadoop and Spark. I have a PhD in electrical engineering from Stanford University.
