Dun & Bradstreet and Virtue Foundation Partner to Improve Access to Medical Care in Developing Countries

Dun & Bradstreet and Virtue Foundation have entered into a strategic relationship that integrates Dun & Bradstreet data and analytics with Virtue Foundation’s Data Mapping Initiative. A tool that maps the developing world to help identify needs and deploy resources, the Data Mapping Initiative seeks to create an open-source marketplace that uses predictive analytics, big data, and cloud computing to match those needs with available medical care. The corporate social responsibility partnership, a first for both entities, also marks a step toward one of the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Goals that calls for more multi-stakeholder partnerships that mobilize and share knowledge, expertise, and technology.

“Dun & Bradstreet is proud to contribute to and support the Data Mapping Initiative because we know the power of data and analytics to solve problems and to do good in the world,” said Dun & Bradstreet’s Chief Legal Officer & Head of Global Corporate Citizenship, Chris Hill. “Our corporate citizenship is focused on the underserved and underrepresented, which is why fueling Virtue Foundation’s efforts to support people in need, including improving women’s global health, is so important.”
