Goliath Technologies, a leader in end-user experience monitoring and troubleshooting software, announced today the appointment of Karen Armor to Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Armor, a veteran high-tech leader and sales executive, will spearhead the entire global sales organization, including client success, to help drive the company’s next phase of growth.
Armor is a talented sales and operations leader with extensive experience in growing software companies. She joins Goliath following her most recent role as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at 5Nine, a leader in hybrid cloud virtualization management and security, which was acquired by Acronis in December of 2019. Her experience in sales, customer retention and deployment, and maximizing traditional and next generation sales functions has given her the knowledge and insight to accelerate top line revenue and client satisfaction across business-to-business software companies.

“I am thrilled to have Karen join the Goliath team. Her background and skillset are exactly what is needed to support us in our next phase of revenue growth,” said Thomas Charlton, Chairman and CEO of Goliath Technologies. “I can’t imagine a more challenging time to assume the role of sales leader given the current COVID-19 health crisis. That said, the entire team at Goliath is very motivated at this critical time because our technology positively impacts patient care in health systems and offers business continuity for all organizations by enabling remote workforces to be highly productive at home contributing to the avoidance of layoffs.”
At Goliath, Armor will join a leadership team that recently added technology veteran Stacy Leidwinger as Chief Marketing Officer and Donna Grare as Executive Vice President and CTO. With a complete executive team, Charlton has the support he needs to drive growth by leveraging a continued focus on software that helps IT teams to deal with the inherent complexities of managing hybrid IT environments regardless of where applications, infrastructure, or end users are located.

Prior to 5Nine, Armor served as Segment Business Unit Executive for IBM Security. In this role, she acted as the focal point for coordination between IBM and the North American Security Sales leadership, sellers, and customers. Before being acquired into IBM in 2013, she held notable leadership roles within both sales and operations at MaaS360/Fiberlink; including build-outs of high-performing enterprise and inside sales teams as well as integrated account management and customer success organizations
