Sigma Computing, an innovator in cloud-native analytics and business intelligence (A&BI), announced today the appointment of operations leader Orla Clifford as its first vice president of operations. Her appointment coincides with Sigma’s increasing momentum and need to rapidly scale as demand grows for empowering all employees with secure, governed access to data and enabling a community-driven approach to A&BI at enterprise companies. Clifford joins a trio of accomplished female leaders, VP of Marketing Cristina Bravo Olmo, VP of Engineering Latha Colby, and VP of User Experience and Design Julie Lemieux, to bring gender parity to Sigma’s executive team.

“The intense need for a better way to access and analyze data means our customer base is growing across a wide range of industries from technology to financial services and supply chain management, to name a few,” said Sigma Computing CEO Mike Palmer. “Balancing product innovation against the needs of a growing and diverse set of use cases makes operations and scalability top priorities for Sigma right now. Orla’s track record of driving results and increasing revenue with an eye to the customer experience will accelerate our ability to meet both internal and customer goals. We are so pleased to have Orla join the team.”
