Lume Raises $4.3 Million to Expand Cloud Anyware and Edge Data Center Offerings

Company adds TierPoint founder, Octavio Morales to Board of Directors

Lume, a global provider of cloud and data center services, announced that it has secured a $4.3 million investment to support its innovative cloud offerings and bring the company’s Cloud Anyware and edge data center solutions to new markets and customers.

Lume also announced today that Octavio Morales has joined the company’s Board of Directors. Mr. Morales was one of the original co-founders of TierPoint and served as the company’s CEO until its acquisition in 2012. He has over 30 years of experience and expertise within the industry that will help guide the company’s growth strategy.

This round of funding will allow the company to expand its Cloud Anyware solution suite, which allows customers to mix and match public and private cloud services for each application and choose the edge data center location where the environment is deployed and managed.

Lume is focused on assisting businesses better define what “cloud” means for them and helping them navigate what is often a complex process with its unique Cloud Fit model – a set of evaluation criteria and tools used to help customers understand their requirements and choose the right cloud solution for their business.
