Harena Data And WTFast Launch Beta For Rumbl, An AI-Based Competitive Gaming Network
Beta available to enterprise and academic sports organizations
Harena Data and global gaming optimizer WTFast have launched their first beta for Rumbl, a competitive gaming network that allows players worldwide to compete on an even playing field. Rumbl aims to be the world’s largest gaming network where gamers can participate in large-scale, competitive esports tournaments. Organizations using Rumble can play tournaments on a low latency, equalized network with stability.

Rumbl’s creates “globally enabled fair game play” where gamers and organizations will know their events are played in a fair competition. Winning will be based on skills and strategy alone, not due to unfair network conditions and game server geography.
Rumbl is available now for academic and enterprise organizations to use for any competitive gaming tournament. The product ensures a delivery of accelerated connections and session optimization. Rumbl uses machine learning to automatically optimize online traffic for stable, equalized and accelerated online gaming connections.
“We created Rumbl in partnership with Harena Data because we saw the unfairness in online competitions and we wanted to do something about it. If you have 100ms ping, and your opponent has only 10ms ping, this creates a massive unfair advantage for your opponent. With this unfair network advantage, if your opponent wins, it makes the loss even worse because it feels like you can do nothing about it. Rumbl changes all of that,” said Rob Bartlett, CEO of WTFast. “With equalized ping, everyone competes at the same network speed. This means true skills-based competition. When you win, and even when you lose, it just feels better. You know the winning team won because of skill, not because they had a better network.”
Rumbl includes:
-
Network stability improvement from the game server to the player
-
Equalized responsiveness among the entire team of players at the same time
