MainStreaming Secures $6 Million Funding, Led by Indaco Ventures, to Revolutionize Broadcasting and Online Gaming
Latest Round Gives MainStreaming the Backing It Needs to Expand Across Europe and the US, and Extend Its Reach in the Broadcast and Online Gaming Markets
MainStreaming, the technology provider enabling broadcasters, media and enterprise companies to deliver the best online streaming experience globally, has announced it has secured $6 millionin a new round of funding, bringing its total raised to over $10 million. This round was led by Indaco Venture Partners SGR, together with Sony Innovation Fund and existing investor, United Ventures.
MainStreaming will use the funds to enhance its position in its two core markets, broadcast and online gaming, and enable its customers to meet the ever-growing demand for streaming and seamless gaming interactivity over the internet.

Its proprietary and disruptive technology enables broadcasters to stream live and on-demand and compete with major providers, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu. MainStreaming’s solution has already been deployed with leading broadcasters, including Sky Italia, which uses the service to stream premium live, linear and on-demand content, enabling it to offer consumers access to their favorite content over broadband connections.
MainStreaming will also be using the investment to support its expansion into one of the fastest growing industries, cloud-based gaming. Its unique HyperNode solution, guarantees online providers and console developers a cutting-edge service, ensuring their customers a high-quality gaming experience.
Indaco Venture Partners the lead investor in this funding round, aims to help MainStreaming focus its efforts on expanding in international markets.

Sony’s participation through its venture capital arm in this funding round, represents its first investment in an Italian company. The trust placed in MainStreaming with this investment will help accelerate the way gaming and video are delivered to consumers.
