Supersonic Superstars Contest Awards $150k For Each Winning Studio
Hyper-casual publisher launches contest together with exclusive program for talented indie developers
Leading hyper-casual game developer and publisher Supersonic Studios, announced the launch of its Supersonic Superstars contest for mobile game developers and studios of all sizes. The contest offers an unlimited number of prizes for games in any hyper-casual sub-genre which hit its target KPIs, ranging as high as $150k per game. In addition to the prize money, developers will be invited to join the Supersonic Superstars program, where they will get an exclusive deal with the publisher and receive close support from the Supersonic team.

Launching on November 1st, games which hit the following KPIs (for Facebook, US, iOS) are eligible for cash rewards:
- Gold medal – $150k award for CPI < $0.20; D1 > 45%; Playtime > 750s
- $15k if only hit CPI < $0.20
- Silver medal – $75K award for CPI < $0.25; D1 > 40%; Playtime > 500s
- $7.5k if only hit CPI < $0.25
- Bronze medal – $50K award for CPI < $0.30; D1 > 38%; Playtime > 450s
- $5K if only hit CPI < $0.30
All developers who receive a silver or gold award will be invited to join the exclusive Supersonic Superstars program, which is designed to empower developers to improve their games and grow their portfolio through ongoing financial support, unlimited time with in-house game growth consultants, and early access to Supersonic’s publishing technology. These benefits will give Superstar developers and their games an edge in the competitive hyper-casual gaming market, helping them leverage technology, market trends and insights, and game design and growth expertise to create more winning titles.

To qualify for the prize money, the game should be on iOS with no more than 10k downloads, and must be a game not previously tested with Supersonic. All games must be submitted to the Superstars contest before December 17th 2020.
