CenTrak Bolsters Security Solutions offering through Elpas Acquisition
Market leading IoT provider expands Security Solutions portfolio and international presence via acquisition of select assets of Elpas from Johnson Controls
CenTrak, Inc. announced today the acquisition of select assets of Elpas Solutions Ltd., an indirect safety and security subsidiary of Johnson Controls International Plc. The transaction will strengthen CenTrak’s market-leading IoT Location, Security and Sensing offering. The Elpas team has more than twenty years of technology experience related to Security Solutions including over twenty-five patents. Elpas technology has been installed in hundreds of healthcare, manufacturing and correctional facilities throughout the Americas and Europe.

Current Elpas customers can continue to receive support, install new systems and expansions from the Elpas Partner Network. Johnson Controls International will provide support until June 14, 2019 as indicated in the previous announcements from Elpas.

In the coming months, CenTrak will begin the effort to incorporate unique patented innovations into the next version of CenTrak’s platform. These enhancements will further differentiate CenTrak’s infant protection, wireless call, staff duress, man down and wander management capabilities. It is anticipated that CenTrak’s platform, once enhanced with Elpas technologies, will further expand the breadth of IoT use cases, and open doors to new markets.
