Database solution provider to talk about value of IoT data management
Global database leader FairCom Corporation announced today that it is showcasing its family of fast, reliable data management technology 26-27 September at the Gartner Catalyst Conference in London. Attendees have the opportunity to receive in-depth information about the new c-treeEDGE IoT Database — a fast transaction-controlled database built for reliability in edge computing.
The FairCom exhibit is located at booth no. S2 in the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel, where the company will provide a demonstration of the value of using a database management solution, such as c-treeEDGE, in Internet of Things (IoT) and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) scenarios. c-treeEDGE is built with the same technology that powers FairCom’s legendary c-treeACE multimodel database, which facilitates high-performance NoSQL and industry-standard SQL access within the same application and over the same data.
In addition to the exhibit, FairCom’s director of business development, Evaldo Horn de Oliveira, will present “FairCom: Edge Computing & Real-time Data Management with c-treeEDGE” on 26 Sept. at 2:50 p.m. local time. Oliveira will discuss the benefits of storing and managing data on the edge and how c-treeEDGE allows automatic persistence of data on the edge.
“The evolution of the Internet of Things technology is improving the way things are done now, and it is opening the doors to new advancements in areas such as real-time decision making and predictive analytics,” Oliveira said. “c-treeEDGE empowers organizations to not only reliably manage their data on the edge, but it also opens the door for them to make mission-critical decisions at or near the data collection point.”
Attendees who visit the FairCom booth during the network reception on the 26th will have an opportunity to play Giant Jenga for the chance to take a little IoT home with them via bot cars. Information about FairCom and its database solutions are available at FairCom.com. Also, a white paper discussing the use of a database on the edge is available here.
