Haywire was founded by Kelly Pfledderer, founder and former CEO of Indianapolis-based Apparatus. During his time with Apparatus, the company provided enterprise cloud and Internet infrastructure for Fortune 500s and startups alike and was acquired by Virtusa in 2015. Pfledderer’s deep knowledge of enterprise networking and infrastructure management is now being translated to residential communities.

Additionally, Haywire partnered with Discovery Park, a $1 billion mixed-use development of housing, high-end manufacturing, and industry and research-driven partnerships across more than 400 acres of Purdue’s campus, and serves as an Internet service provider for the district’s apartments, townhomes, residential homes and commercial spaces.

Among Haywire’s multifamily property customers is Old Town Companies, a Central Indiana-based land development, construction and real estate investment company.
