Named a Leader in the Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific versions of the report reinforcing capabilities of Accenture Strategy & Consulting
Accenture has been named as a leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Business Consulting Services 2020 Vendor Assessment report. The IDC MarketScape also named Accenture a leader in three regional versions of the report covering the Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific.
In the worldwide report, the IDC MarketScape found that consulting providers are generally perceived as successful at offering functional insights. Of Accenture specifically, the IDC MarketScape notes that it “is seen to excel at providing functional insights and competence,” and that “understanding clients’ unique business needs and meeting the project timeline” is an additional and differentiating strength.
“As we reshape our business to better respond to our clients’ growing needs for more innovation and agility, we have brought many of our practices together in one organization to unleash the transformational talent that was previously dispersed across Accenture,” said Annette Rippert, group chief executive, Accenture Strategy & Consulting. “Our positioning as a Leader in this IDC MarketScape reflects how we deepened our industry and functional programs, expanded cross-industry connections, and infused a full spectrum of digital capabilities – including applied intelligence, data, innovation and human-centered design capabilities – across all of our offerings to help clients capitalize on disruption and position for growth.”

Clients globally rated their providers, in aggregate, best at helping them with the following business priorities: developing digital products and services, transforming critical processes, and adapting to change and becoming more agile.

We are excited to work with leaders embracing this moment to innovate and accelerate their digital capabilities, and to transform and grow their businesses through the power of data, analytics and technology,” said Kathleen O’Reilly, who leads Accenture Strategy. “Across industries, from strategy to operations, we are thrilled to see this recognition of Accenture’s diverse talented teams finding innovative ways to create value for our clients.”
