Apptio Cloudability Received Top Score in Cloud Forecasting Criterion and Highest Scores Possible in B****** and Performance Criteria
Apptio, Inc., a leading provider of technology business management (TBM) solutions that help organizations analyze, plan, and optimize technology spend, has been named a Leader by Forrester Research, an independent research firm, in The Forrester Wave: Cloud Cost Management And Optimization, Q4 2020.
The Forrester Wave evaluated eight cloud management solutions based on 27 criteria, grouped into three high-level categories: current offering, strategy, and market presence. Apptio Cloudability received the highest scores possible in 11 criteria, including b******, performance, reporting, and cost planning and assessment capabilities.

As noted in the report, “Apptio is the predominant player in the IT financial management (a.k.a. technology business management) market. In 2017, it entered the public cloud CCMO space, where it has since bolstered its offerings by acquiring FittedCloud in 2018 and Cloudability in 2019.” The report also notes that Apptio has “bolstered its senior leadership with hires from Amazon, Google, and Microsoft to deepen partnerships and accelerate traction.”
