Informatica Expands Cloud Presence To Microsoft Azure Germany
New cloud for intelligent data management on Azure strengthens cloud dynamics for European customers
Informatica , the leader in enterprise cloud data management, announced its Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), the industry’s first end-to-end platform for AI -supported data management to make available on Microsoft Azure Germany and to react to the growth of cloud customers in Europe

In the past year, the adoption of cloud solutions by companies accelerated. The increased digitization to maintain business continuity during the pandemic contributed to this. However, data transfer restrictions and data localization requirements have slowed this transition down. With the new IDMC pod on Azure Germany, customers now have an additional option for the data location and have the opportunity to use their data innovatively to further develop their business.

In addition to the IDMC pod that was introduced on Microsoft Azure Germany, an additional IDMC pod is now available on Azure Southeast Asia, which further expands the reach of Informatica’s cloud data management offerings. These new pods build on a collaboration between Informatica and Azure that has already had other successes: it grew 109% year over year in 2020.

The new Intelligent Data Management Cloud is now available on the Azure Germany Pod, customers can subscribe to it via the Azure Marketplace . For a quick and easy start, customers can use Informatica’s free cloud data integration service, which provides up to 500 million rows of data per month free of charge and helps facilitate data integration, transformation and loading of priority workloads into Azure Synapse for Accelerate cloud data warehousing.
