Mirantis Joins NVIDIA AI Cloud Ready Initiative as Founding ISV Partner, Bringing a Validated “Metal-to-Model” Stack to NVIDIA Cloud Partners
Mirantis k0rdent AI validated with NVIDIA, helps neoclouds transform GPU infrastructure into profitable AI cloud businesses
Mirantis, delivering Kubernetes-native infrastructure for AI, announced it has been accepted to the NVIDIA AI Cloud Ready Initiative as a founding independent software vendor (ISV) partner. The initiative recognizes validated software platforms that enable NVIDIA Cloud Partners (NCPs) to accelerate the deployment of scalable AI cloud infrastructure.

For neoclouds and those building AI infrastructure, Mirantis k0rdent AI is turnkey for automated, multi-tenant AI clouds with significantly improved utilization and economics which works across bare metal, Kubernetes, virtual machines (VMs), and managed AI services.
“With k0rdent AI, NCPs can move from manual operations to multi-tenant, self-service platforms that unlock the economic potential of GPU infrastructure,” said Shaun O’Meara, chief technology officer at Mirantis. “Operators are assured day-zero readiness with NVIDIA certified models. Using k0rdent AI, providers can simply plug in NVIDIA certified hardware, and the platform takes care of the rest.”
k0rdent AI leverages NVIDIA NCX Infra Controller, an open-source technology battle-tested inside NVIDIA to manage large-scale GPU fleets. k0rdent AI provides a unified control plane that orchestrates the entire stack across the full NVIDIA reference architecture portfolio – from NVIDIA Ampere, NVIDIA Hopper, and NVIDIA Blackwell architectures to NVIDIA Quantum InfiniBand and NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet, NVIDIA NVLink scale-up networking, and NVIDIA DGX, NVIDIA HGX, and NVIDIA MGX platforms.
Across the industry, NCP providers and enterprise AI factories face mounting pressure to turn GPU infrastructure into sustainable revenue streams. While demand for AI services continues to surge (with Gartner projecting worldwide AI spending to total $2.5 trillion in 2026), many deployments remain constrained by manual provisioning, single-tenant architecture, and fragmented tooling.
“AI infrastructure service providers need to maximize utilization and operational efficiency,” said Warren Barkley, vice president of product management, NVIDIA. “Our collaboration with Mirantis helps neoclouds deploy validated AI infrastructure faster, pairing ISV validation with NVIDIA NCX Infra Controller lifecycle automation to deliver consistent performance, operational efficiency, and real cloud differentiation at scale.”
Mirantis offers the only open, composable infrastructure platform in the founding ISV group, which is purpose-built for the complete neocloud lifecycle — from bare metal through multi-tenant AI services delivery.
